Paul

Paul is still In critical condition.  He is medically paralyzed and heavily sedated.  The ventilator continues to do his breathing.

His heart rate has been in ventricular tachacardia all day. He had a temperature of 103 or higher most of Wednesday.   The temperature came down with the help of a cooling mattress Wednesday night but his heart continues to race.

It is a struggle to get the organs to work together. When they slow down the heart rate, the blood pressure drops.  When they add fluids  to get the kidneys flushed, the lungs become saturated.

The doctor has said as long as all the vital organs are working,we are okay.
So for now, we are okay.

Jo

We are thinking of you two all the time, and praying for the Lord's healing power to help Paul thru this rough time. We need to take a deep breath and try to be patient so that Paul's system can recover. I know the surgery is alot for his body to go thru. Father, I ask that the Medical staff be blessed in their works to see Paul back to health. Lord, hear our love and combine our faith, for together we will endure thru the toughest of times.

Wishing for both of you - things that make you smile. A big hug, the first sight of spring flowers, a baby's giggle, a home-cooked meal, a cool breeze on a hot day, hearing from someone you love, etc. Best wishes & take care.
