Paul M. Hine
January 27, 1950 – August 4, 2013
It is with a heavy heart and an emptiness in my soul that I let
go of the love of my life. Paul has
started a new journey on Sunday August
4, 2013 at 11:00 pm. He fought a great battle to overcome all the trials of his
fight with Esophageal Cancer.
Paul was the middle child of Joan and David Hine from
Redhill, England.
Paul is survived by his wife Josephine, brother John Hine
and Sue, Charles Hine and Kerri, daughters Natalie Laura Hine, Joanna Kate Hine,
Jennifer Marie Hine.
He will be missed by many.
God saw he was getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around him,
and whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes I watched, him suffer,
and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around him,
and whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes I watched, him suffer,
and saw him fade away.
Although I loved him dearly,
I could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands to rest.
God broke my heart to prove to me,
He only takes the best.
Although I loved him dearly,
I could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands to rest.
God broke my heart to prove to me,
He only takes the best.
Devastating news. Love and hugs to you, Jo. Call me, stay with me, whatever you need...we are here for you.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Please know your struggles and expressions of love have been a great inspiration for me. I pray that your wonderful memories and friendships will sustain you going forward.
ReplyDeleteDearest Jo, I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear husband. I just now saw this. Paul was a kind, wonderful man. He loved you very deeply. We were all blessed to know him. You have done everything for him and more. Thoughts and prayers for you Jo and your family. Heartbroken for you. I will be thinking of you. Please take care. Please remember Paul is no longer suffering and in heaven where he will be healed and no longer in pain. He is your guardian angel. Always with you. Hugs to you. So very sad, I'm deeply sorry.
ReplyDeleteKeeping you in my prayers. . Paul is now pain free and angel watching over you.
ReplyDeleteJo, I am so sorry. Cindy just informed us of Paul's passing. I wish I could hug you my friend. We are so grateful to have met both of you & have you as friends. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do. (Dale n Barb)
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry to learn of Paul's passing. It was an honour to know him. Although your heart is broken, take comfort in knowing that Paul is no longer in pain. (Robert & Barb Moore, Kelowna, BC)
ReplyDeleteThose we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day.
ReplyDeleteUnseen, unheard, but always near.
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time of sorrow.

Ron and I are sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a valiant warrior and you were his faithful 'lady'. We loved getting to know both of you and totally enjoyed the dry sense of humour Paul had. Jo, you have been a dedicated wife and it was obvious just how deeply the two of you respected, cared for and loved each other. Both of you have endured more than we can even imagine with dignity and, often, a smile even in the dark hours. Caliente will miss Paul and so will we. When it comes time for us to travel south again, we will hope that we see you there. And as for Paul, "until we meet again!" God bless you and may you feel God's loving arms wrapped around you at this time.

Jo,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your blog with us. I remember doing a wonderful geocache named "The Ace of Caches". I read about your journey as you both were FTF. I remember thinking to myself what an awesome couple, I hope someday our paths will cross. I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of Paul, but take comfort (myself) in knowing/believing he is in a better place. Thanks for sharing the battle and your strength through all of this.
Dear Jo, our hearts are so sad as the reality that Paul is no longer here sinks in. We hurt for you, Jo, for you fought such a hard battle right alongside Paul. We admired your and Paul's bravery and strength during the past few months. God was with you all the time and we saw your faith and trust as you clung to Him for strength. We will continue to pray for you daily.
ReplyDeleteWe were blessed to know Paul and were so glad to have him as manager at Caliente. Hope to see you this
winter.
our love in Christ, Kathy & George
Jo;
ReplyDeleteI am here in Washington, and yesterday I went to Oregon to visit Susan & Jerry Weaver, our new Sales Consultants for Caliente Springs. She had asked about Paul. Anyway we opened your blog yesterday and although you wrote on the 4th of August, his passing never showed up until later on after I left their home, and then today she emailed me about Paul's passing. Jo, I am so very sorry. I will be home Sunday. What can I do? I am there for you through anything you need. I want to come hug you, but I never know what each individual wants in sad times like this.
Jo, I truly believe that we will all be reunited again when Jesus comes to take us home with Him. That is the Great Hope, and God is an Awesome God! You will see Paul again, and so, just keep remembering that. Hopefully this will be your greatest strength as you go through this next journey. And remember all of us at Caliente, along with your family and other friends, are here for you, and we all love you so very much.
Your Sister in Christ./cindy
I just got this email from a friend and wanted to send it along to you.
Jesus
Read at least the first two lines....Never thought of it!
Jesus died over 2000 years ago.
Nobody has ever referred to HIM as the late Jesus,
Not even the heathens.
Nowhere in history.
Nowhere has HE ever been referred to in the past tense
HE 'is' the Living God!
When Jesus died on the cross HE was thinking of you and Paul!
"May God Smile on You Today."

Dear Jo,
ReplyDeleteWe were saddened to hear the news this week. In the short time I worked with Paul, I found him to be so helpful, and a most gentle and kind spirited man. Kathy and I will be praying for you daily as you continue your journey with treasured memories of your wonderful Paul. (David & Kathy Rapske)
