Leaving North Carolina I was struck with the magnificence and splendor of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is the second time I've been fortunate to see them. Their beauty always stirs a feeling of awe deep inside of me. I understand why my older sister loves them so much.
The sporadic fog in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee was a bit frightening and amazingly stunning all at once! With so many curves, ups and downs, it felt like a roller coaster and kept you guessing what was around the next bend or hill. We made a lot of stops just to keep from feeling stressed. Or I should say... Paul made a lot of stops to keep me from feeling stressed!
Arrived at our destination in Kentucky just as the rain began. A quick set up, a warm bowl of soup and a warm fire in the fireplace to chase the dampness and cold away, it felt good to be home.
There is nothing that happens by chance in our universe. Everything unfolds according to higher laws - everything is regulated by divine order. Peace Pilgrim
