Midwestern Fall
Driving North enjoying the beautiful orange, red, and yellow foliage. The colors let us know that it is time to prepare for the coming of Winter. As we drive through the mid-west, I enjoy seeing all the farming communities. Some of the fields have already been harvested, others, such as winter corn, will be harvested soon. Cows, horses, wild turkeys have been spotted out my window to the world along the routes in "Farm Country". We have even noticed the abundance of geese gathering to fly South for the winter.
We are in Illinois, visiting with family and friends for a of couple days before trekking further North to visit more family and friends. So far the adventure has been an eye opener. Traveling every day can be weary and tiring (eight states in four days and including setting up, sleeping, and breaking down the home). I'm looking forward to getting the things done in South Dakota, so that we can spend at least a week at a time enjoying the places we stay. So far it looks like the Winter weather will hold off until we leave the Northern States.
Enjoy the day!

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.
