Must have been really cold last night.  Went to flush the toilet and the water pump kicked in, but no water coming out!  Time to turn on the heater and unthaw the pipes.

Lesson learned: Use the RV furnace at night not just the electric heater!

Frost on the truck!   Good thing we kept an ice scraper!

Challenges make life interesting, however, overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.

  1. Sorry you had frozen pipes but you did learn a lesson! We run the fireplace and perhaps a ceramic heater during the evening. When we go to bed, we have the furnace turned down low so it will kick in now and then during the night to help keep the basement/tanks/pipes from freezing. We also open the kitchen and bath cabinets where pipes are to allow in some warmth from the rig interior. :) Gotta love Winter!

Praying that God sends you sunny skies, dry roads, no wind and many gas stations along the way.. sending Love, Hugs, blessings and smiles across the miles.. Love you Toni and Bill
